Fold a square paper in half.

Fold down half of the rectangle.

Flip the paper over and do the same thing.

Open the triangle from the bottom to pull it into a square.

Lift up the first layer of the square, fold the edges in to make them align with the midline

Press it down, and do the same thing on the backside.

Fold up the first layer of both sides.

Fold the front side in half and fold the backside in half. A new front side and a new backside is made.

Fold up the wings and make a head for the crane.
