The Beginning |
Yes, that's right, we're starting at the beginning. Um, sorry, there is just a little matter of... well, I'm going to assume you know something about computers, and something about using email and the World Wide Web (or the Internet). However I'm not going to assume that you know anything about computer programming at all. Which is good, right?
If you've programmed before in C or C++ then I expect that you'll be OK on your own, so I'll point you at The Java Tutorial. It's written by the nice people at Sun who invented Java in the first place. Of course you can come back if you get lonely. People with lots of programming experience in other languages might also find this useful to refer to.
Right... pay attention Bond, your next mission is codenamed Hello, World!
