- Various neon nail polishes
- Silver nail polish
- Base/top coat

Step 1
Apply a quality base coat (OPI, China Glaze, Revlon, Essie...) to all of your nails.
I'm using a Revlon base coat. This is essential to protecting your nails from staining.
Make sure your nails are fully dry before proceeding. |
 |
Step 2
Using your white polish and the regular brush paint french tips on all your nails. I'm using 023 White On White by China Glaze.
|
|
Step 3
Choose your neon colors. You need at least 3 and no more than 6 because you want the nails to have some repetition.
I went with 5 different colors: a purple, NP423 Phenomena by L.A. Colors; a blue, 4860-04 Blue Me Away!
by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear ; a lime green, 4860-02 Green With Envy by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear; an orange,
4860A0 Mandarin by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear; and a pink, 220 Bubble by Revlon Top Speed. Using a dotting tool,
either home made or store bought, dip into a color and draw flowers by placing five dots together to create a flower.
Draw three flowers on each nail varying the color combinations and order of placement every time.
If you don't already have a dotting tool, you can unbend a bobby pin and use the rubber tip. |
|
Step 4
Use your dotting tool or a toothpick into silver polish to create the flower centers.
|
|
Step 5
Finish off with a top coat. Voila! Enjoy your colorful, fun nails. |
