Twelve Sided Dice

Twelve sided dice are different from the four, six, eight and ten sided dice. Their faces are made of pentagons and are on pyramid like shapes. They only have one number on each face like all the other dice except for spherical dice. Even though the number of sides and the faces are different from other die, the numbers on a twelve sided dice are also written, not shown by dots. Sometimes there are letters instead of numbers on these dice. This is because certain games need letters on the die. These twelve sided dice also need to have lines or dots below them to clarify between a six and a nine. The result on a twelve sided die is read by looking at the number facing upwards. Rolling these dice are exactly like how you would roll any other dice.

Twenty Sided Dice

Twenty sided dice, as the name implies, have twenty sides. These dice are much more common that the other types of dice except for the six sided die. Twenty sided dice have faces that are triangles, but much smaller than the ones of the four sided and eight sided dice. They only have one number on each face. Like the other die, the numbers on the sides of the die are written not represented by dots. Sometimes people like to replace the numbers one and twenty with symbols. Examples of some of these symbols are crowns, stars, and personal logos. Since they have both the numbers six and nine, they have to put lines or dots between those two numbers to make it clear which number is the result. The result on a twenty sided die is read by looking at the number on the top of the die. Rolling these dice are exactly like how you would roll any other dice.
